Default Escort Cosworth Cams

I'm getting some work done on my small turbo esc/cos. Thinking of changing the cams, anyone any feedback on cams available. Been told Kent BD 10's are not very good mid range, Haven't heard any feedback on Piper COSBP270GHT or COSBP320GHT.
Can anyone give me any advice please.
I'm only looking for a mild upgrade cam wise to try and keep the car drivable. Head is getting flowed, pistons changed to drop compression, new bigger turbo, 8 injectors and new ecu with vairiable boost settings. Plus odds and sods.

where are you from?

car sounds like it should be good when its finished..

i have cams in mine but they are designed more along the lines of max power at high revs so would be no use for you..

sure someone will be able to answer your questions.

who is doing the work to your car??

Was originally from Fife, now in Carluke, AVA are doing most of the work, with the head going down South. Havn't decided on final spec yet, might go for a mid range turbo and keep the normal comression, rather than de-compression and big turbo.

I have been dealing with Alan, as I wanted to try and keep it legal for emmision levels (hence using 8 injectors) he had not recommended any specific profile. But as I have contacts in Holbay, Piper and quite a few major engine builders plus access to a cam grinder. I am trying to access what works, and then may get 2 cams cut to suit what I need.

What inlet manifold are you using ?, aWRC gives much better induction, and I've been told a higher combustion efficientcy. This will drop the emmision levels.

runing a EECV manifold from a small turbo escort.

it flows up to 550 bhp so should "just" cope with my engine

The problem is the year of the car, the emmision level for the later small turbo is a lot harder to acieve when tuned than the earlier big turbo version.
If your is also a small turbo car, I would be interested in what tuning spec you used to acieve this. Only prob might be, as you mentioned earlier you specified max power at high revs, and I'm not looking to go that wild.
Any info would be appreciated
