As subject, when should this have to be done, as i seem to recall reading that in 95% of cases it doens't need to be done, or am i completely on the wrong track? I have another turbo and was thinking of buying one of those repair kits from sty @ MSD to do the one that i took off, but what do you think?

 

not sure whats in the repair kit but it must be crucial to be balanced properly due to the speed they spin at m8 . id just get a new one on px

 

if you have the equipment and the know how to balance the turbo yourself. why not. but if you don't leave it to the experts then

 

Never herd of a turbo needing balanceing after fitting. as above mate get an exchange on .that way you get the warrenty ect

 

YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF BUT IF THEY ARE NOT BALLANCED THEY DONT LAST VERY LONG,TRY MIDLAND TURBOES IN NOTTINGHAM THEY ARE VERY REASONABLE AND DO A PUKKA JOB
