Default Please help,im a beginner!

Hi
I have a S2 RS Turbo, i have no idea about mechanics.I had been advised my top radiator hose needed replacing. So i thought i could manage that. As i took the old one off,it seemed to be oil seeped out at the hole nearest to the front of the car possibly the radiator like i say i dont know ,i replaced it very quickly with the new one but i did lose some oil.Do i need to top up or should be ok.Or have i done something very wrong.Dont have much of an idea, but we all have to start somewhere.
Many thanks

if oil has come out of the hole i assume you mean you needed to change the top boost pipe?if so try to get all of the oil out of there!

Its directly under the dump valve.Like a question mark shape, with a smaller pipe going off to the left towards the turbo.

that is the top radiator hose that youve described.there shouldnt be any oil in that hose.it should be coolant.and you will need to top up the coolant.
