Default what would cause

a lumpy idle and unloaded reving, but its fine when driving. its not over fueling, and i havnt had the chance to check the plugs, although if it was plugs wouldnt it be all through the rev range be it loaded or unloaded?

please help

easiest thing to check would be ISCV, take it out and give it a good clean with brake cleaner/carb cleaner or similar. they get sticky and so don't give a smooth idle

could well be the map sensor, i had a 3 bar one that according to stus pectel monitor was giving the correct voltage output for the pressure(vacuum) at idle and yet it was dead lumpy, we tried a new one just out of devilment and hey presto it ran fine, EVEN though the pectel monitor STILL read exactly the same voltage as before yet it was cured,
