could well be the map sensor, i had a 3 bar one that according to stus pectel monitor was giving the correct voltage output for the pressure(vacuum) at idle and yet it was dead lumpy, we tried a new one just out of devilment and hey presto it ran fine, EVEN though the pectel monitor STILL read exactly the same voltage as before yet it was cured,
