Still Smoking :(
I picked my RS up 2day, after being away for 8 months
supposed to be getting fixed.
Anyways, it's had :-
New turbo
valve stem oil seals
big end shells
tappets
pistons checked (they were new 1's already in there)
bores glazed
core plugs
after all that, there still smoke, not as bad as it was when it went, as that was just constant clouds of smoke. Now it's just moderate when i 1st start the car, till about 5-10 min's after ive had it driving about.
Anyone know what else i can check? it's really starting to píss me off
Cheers

try giving the engine all a good clean internally. if its all been rebilt then you shouldnt find any nasty side effects. engine oil flush, coolant flush, run some of the 10k boost stuff through the inlet. should give all the internals a good clean.
if the engines a bit ropey then i wouldnt go as mad, i tried the oil flush on my nova and its helped the headgasket on its way, unpluggin all the holes.
also when they checked the pistons did they check the rings.

got the piston rings changed & it's still smoking, i think its exactly the same as b4 but my other halfs dad reckons it's not.
He say's the smoke's not blue, its more a white, very light blue & doesnt smell of oil, smells more of petrol and that it will probably need the mixtures setup, then the smoke will clear.
