best brake conversion?
Due to me fitting 17" wheels to my car, i can now fit bigger brakes.
Whats the best deals, i want 300mm discs or bigger with at least four pots.
cheers, lee.

depends on youre budget, obv some huge AP discs and 6 pots wil be around the best but if youre after a budget set up go for some 2wd cossie 4 pots and focus rs discs which are around about 320mm iirc

Hello mate
just quickly, if you are planning to go big brakes on your series one, id allow a bit of budget to uprate the master cylinder, and possibly the brake servo aswell.
Ive just converted my MK3 cabby to a full 2wd set up, 4 pots and disc conversion, and the master cylinder isnt really up to the job its on the limit, you need a lot more fluid pushed through, so there is a lot of travel in the pedal.
That said its mainly rear disc conversions that cause the trouble, but i would presume you are going to convert the rear aswell?
