can someone help me as someone told me my ecu was no good, and i need a s1 ecu. a blue,red,blue or a blu,red,white?

whats the deal with the pinkin problem and the timing?

once again is this a dumb question and am i just a FOOL!

 

I've got a blue/red/black on mine and theres nothing wrong with it mine run's fine ive been told some s1 ecu can't be put on a s2

 

they are all the same apart from teh fact the late s2's had a knock sensor so you cant use the late ones on the s1's but you can use the early ones on the s2's if you get me

 

okay so am i better off using a series 1 ecu in my car, when i took my car to power engineering they told me my ecu was playing up and i should use a s1 ecu. they tested there s1 ecu on my car and my car got 178bhp on the rollers but with my ecu it was sometimes gettin 140 and sometimes gettin 160bhp?

anyone help?
