Default 2ltr 16v spec

Right, ive really gotta get a push on with the engine for the series 1

Now, what to build it up to, as im feckin crap with engines

Have got;
2ltr block, crank, rods
Forged low comp pistons
1800 zetec sump, oil pickup and strainer
1600 efi flywheel

Now whats best head wise

2ltr head + exhaust cam, with a 1.8 inlet cam?

or the 1.8 head whole?

Ideal compression ratio?

Keep gettin different opionions on the spec of the engine, really want a reliable 280bhp

Using a t34, greens, rover inlet, aftermarket managment

Anyone got a similar spec?

i personally would say

2 ltr head with 2.0 cams (same as 130 spec) or if you want to a 105 inlet and 2.0 exhaust (or the other way around i forget )

and around a 7.6:1 C/R
