my escort turbo has just been replaced and this is the 4th turbo on it that its blown the oil seal on the turbo,icant really think what else it could be other then the oil pump could be over pressureing every thing have also cheaked and cleaned the breather pipes etc its had a rebuild on the bottem end there is nothing really specil with this engine as it bog standerd,any idea pls as it really onyoed me loads,thanks

 

running too much boost,take pipe of at the turbo conect oil press gauge when cold and check pressure ,then let heat up i think around about 3 bar on cold but not sure,what boost u running? tommy

 

ok ill try that but it is a stander boost at the moment i just dont understand that why it keeps killing every turbo that i puit on ill let you know thow but if there are any more ideas pls keep me infomed thanks

 

Compressor or turbine seal?

 

im running standerd boost and was told that the turbo was 99%good and iv notice that there is alot of oil in the exhast system so im gonna clean the pipe first then try somthing else what should the actator be set at it could be over bossting????????????????????
