i cant start my erst.

when it rained last week my fuel pump kicked in and went for the whole night, water had seeped in and blown the fuel relay but the water acted as a bridge when it shorted.

now when i turn the ignition the pump wont kick in, if i place a wire on two of the fuel relay connectors it will work.
but if i remove the wire and put a new feul; relay in then the pump wont work.

any ideas??? im at the end of my teather.
