1.8 zetec runnin a bit lumpy
ive jus bought a escort si 1.8 and it sounds fine but it just seems to judder now and again.i was in 3rd nailed it and it juddered quite hard.but wen im at low rpm it seems a bit judery aswell..would a tune up sort this or is summat else..???
Try disconnecting the MAF sensor and see what its like then, if it runs better then change the sensor can pick one up cheap from the scrappie.
Could also be the ICV which is causing it, try cleaning it in petrol or use wd40 then see how it is. But try what i suggested above first.

iscv lives inder the throttle body on the inlet manifold (u cant see it from the top) b4 changin it deffo clean it as there 80 squid! id also jus check the tps is plugged in...its the lil black sensor on the throttle body's right. and check the maf is plugged in... its joined to the air box...
to change the iscv is a one hand job.. reach along the under of the inlet manifold and unclip wires then with a tiny ratchet and an 8mm bit undo the 2 retaining bolts. to refit reverse process. hth
