Default F*cked Cossie

Parked my esc cos in the drive way 2 nights ago and went to start it this morning and the ignition lights didnt come on and the fuel pump didnt start either.I checked all the fuses and they were ok then I wiggled the fuel pump relay and the fuel pump came on but still no ignition lights.I drove the car for about 50metres but it coughed and spluttered and came to a dead stop. The rev counter wasnt working and only the sidelights would work. Its got a toad alarm on it and a ford immobiliser on it.Could it be a knackered fuse box?

i know this might sound daft, but i had stupid problems like this with my old s2 rst and in the end it turned out it was just the battery in the key fob needed changing, might think im a loony but it seriously worked and i couldnt believe it. its worth changin it anyway just to see

other favourites are the actual ignition swicth itself, the carbon tracks can wear and cause arking, causing same siad problem
