Series 2 RS turbo, blocks out when coming on boost??????

I have an escort series 2 turbo, which blocks out most of the time when trying to come onto boost. I dont understand why this is happening, anybody got any ideas?

blocks out?, do u mean cutting out on boost?, if so, u may have a air leak or a faulty ecu

Yeah it sort of held back. I just changed my ecu, which was a heart, diamond, and hash. which fingers crossed its going great at the minute.
