has the car run with the spec/mods you are currently at? ie has it stopped working or has it not worked since you changed something?

over fuelling, could be the wrong chip/injecotr combination, faulty map sensor, too high fuel pressure, (kinked or bent fuel return lines to teh tank)

I had it running previously but then it started over fueling for no apparent reason, the plugs were getting damp.Run fine in the sierra,so i changed the coolant temp sensor,it hasnt run since then, the plugs get wet after a few turns of the engine.
The coolant sensor is new and iv checked the resistance as per workshop manual all in spec. The car runs the standard chip at the moment,iv had it running with this one before.
All the fuel lines are new and look ok.
I noticed that the fuel pressure regulator has been messed with, and the screw is in quite far, could this cause it?
Thanks for the help.

if the fuel pressure has been ajusted, yes, are the injecotrs either the dark blue or yellow ones if its a std chip, and also is it a 2 bar map sensor, part number APS02/03 ?

Its running 2wd standard yellow injectors, standard chip and a 2 bar map sensor. The screw on the regulator looks like its been turned in as far as it will go and the factory fitted tamper proof plug as gone, so some monkeys been messing..It came off a chipped car,i looked in the workshop manual and theres nothing about adjusting it

Turned the screw back all the way, which resulted in the plugs not getting as damp,so im on the right track i hope! iv been told it could be knackered, so going to have another play with it see how it goes, been stuck for time recently to look at it. It did try to start though, but ther battery went flat! Will let you know what the outcome is.
