Can anyone tell me how to make the zetec coil pack work as a stand alone component? i have a 88 xr2 with a 2lt zetec in which is have the bogs brothers bike carb conversion done in a week. but they require the the engine to spark. ive still got the multi plug and the suppressor/amp plug from the mondeo loom but not sure how to wire it up? anyone any suggestions??

 

You'll still need a management system to run it. Either stick with the eec ecu and get it chipped or go aftermarket eg Omex, MegaSpark etc.
