FIESTA RS TURBO

car hasnt been run for about 3 months - engine has been out, cleaned etc

battery was relocated to the boot.

starting is a bit slow - basically cranks over quite slowly and starts up.

the starter motor that was on the car originally had to be changed for a BOSCH starter as we snapped one of the terminal.



could this be a duff starter?
battery shows 12.6V but could it be a bit crap due to not being charged in months?
could it be the longer cable run from battery to starter?

i still have the old battery in the boot as i havent got round to buying the gel battery yet
