Default anyone with a quickshift

hi

i just got a quickshift for my s2, i noticed that the original ford assembly had 2 big rubber bits on the part which bolts to the floor pan, i take it this is to stop it rattling and vibrating, my quickshift is just a block of ally with 4 fixing bolts, it rattels a bit on start up and also when the clutch is at biting point, it shifts perfect, just this rattle is really annoying

Stupid question...is it done up tight enough? It sounds like you have a b&m one and if this is the case I've sold loads of them and never had a problem.

its a b&m one, its as tight as i can get it but it creaks when the clutch is at biting point, might make a gasket out of rubber and try that

cheers sm

anyone else had this problem?
