Default WINTER STORAGE FOR 4X4

Hello all.
I was wondering if anybody could give me a little advice with regard to storing my 4x4 Cosworth for the coming 6 to 8 months? Circumstances dictate that I have to lay it up for the forseeable future and is there anything I would need to do to make sure it doesn't seize/stop or rot in this time. It will be garaged so I hope that rust won't be a major issue but you never know!! Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.
