Default PACE CHARGECOOLER

hello. I have a s1 escort with a pace charge cooler fitted. it came with my car when i bought it. I have been told that charge coolers work off of water so could anyone tell me how to check the water level and how much should i put in?

Is it distilled or normal water?

Also on my hoses coming of the charge cooler they have got blue liquid in them. can anyone tell me what this is as it does not look like water. many thnks, Ben

I would expect coolant/antifreeze to be used.

trace your line bacs back 2 of them will lead to the little 'header tank' for the coolant (50/50 mix of water and anti freeze)
