quick help needed with rs turbo zetec conversion
im fitting n/a zetec to escort mk4.
just wondering about the flywheel.
is there any difference in a mk4 escort xr3i 90 spec flywheel and a mk5 escort zetec flywheel??
i know the bolt hole sizes are different but will the crank shaft sensor still work the same???

I think the 1.8 is the same but the 2.0 is different have a look on this site might help www.zetec-turbo.co.uk
yes there is a difference - the face of the flywheel "teeth" that the crank sensor looks at is a different distance from the back of the block - just make sure you use the matching crank position sensor for the flywheel to get the fitted length right. ie zetec CPS with zetec flywheel or EFi CPS with EFi flywheel.

its a zetec flywheel so i'll leave the zetec cps in there, just hope it works ok with the 1990 spec xr3i loom which im certain it will.
