Default 2.0 Si problems

Hi All,
I have done the 2.0 conversion and have so for some weeks now but i am having problems.
I have changed over to the 2.0 injectors and thottle body and so on but not the fuel pump! I have a K&N induction kit and running the DEEP code ecu. and using the 1.6 si gearbox

It seems to be running slow i draged with a XR2i and it keeped nose to nose with me ooh: only just though. LOL

Is there any thing i can try and look at it also lags every now and again in first gear and i dont seem to get much power after 5000 rpm
Some people have said some things but i thought i ask on here

Thanks for any replys Luke.

2.0l MAF is the same for DEEP, DEWY, DESK and EARS ecu's.

Any chance of getting an error code reader on it?

Most garages have one but they will probably charge you for the 10 mins (ish) it takes. Is your MAF clean? There are known issues with the oil from the likes of K&N filters contaminating the wires of the sensor.

Electrical contact cleaner is what most seem to use, sprayed liberally onto the wires a few times. Don't be tempted to brush the wires as they are so fine the would probably break.

The HEGO sensor isn't used at WOT so this shouldn't be the problem unless the HEGO's caused the adaptive learning to really skew the fuel correction way off. Not heard of this happening though.
