You can run it on normal unleaded without any problems, unless your running big Bhp!!!

But i think you should run it on Optimax once in a while to keep it nice and perky. Thats how i used to do it on my Lexus TT!!!

Yeah, but look at the power your running though. I did say in my first post that you should use Optimax, or any other Super Unleaded, if its running big Bhp.

If your running standard or just slightly tuned then normal unleaded does no harm what-so-ever.

Depends how much you drive really, but id suggest Ł10 a week or a full tank once a month.

if i brought a brand new car i think i would use optimax fuel in it, dont they claim it burns alot cleaner in the long run and better for the condition of the internal parts of the engine, thought i saw a example engine what they run on optimax for a certain amount of miles and another engine of the same type and they took it apart and the optimax one was nice and clean inside, but the normal unleaded one didnt look as good,

but i suspose this is there selling point!

If i bought a brand new car then yeah i suppose id run it on Optimax, or atleast more often than i do now.

But you got to think about it ........ back in the days when Cosworths and RST's were new how much Optimax did you see around!!! They were designed to run normal unleaded, optimax i suppose is a bit of a bonus really. Thats why i run Optimax every now and then and not all the time, but i guess its down to every individual really.
