About 125psi is about right standard.

147PSi seems a little high to me. Is it a Turbo bottom end?

Best way to check to see if the rings have gone is test it as normal with a compression tester and then put some oil in the cylinder and test it again. If the compression raises after putting some oil in your rings have gone as the oil makes a seal.

Hope this helps.

yeah its turbo bottom end i had the head off there a few weeks ago and there the right piston and all that .

i did a proper test with and without oil when was properly warm and it didnt seem to go up much at all.

but since then i found the turbo seals are bolloxed so have get that done and it should be all good . but its good to know the bottom end seems to be good .

thanks for all your help people
