metalic clunking ????

Default metalic clunking ????

4x4 saph weird metalic clunking noise coming from the front left, does it on most bumps , sometimes while cornering, and when i go from reverse into forward, am thinking possibly the bushes on top of the suspension struts,, any ideas !!!!!!!!

hi had a simply problem on my 4x4 , it was the dust collar on the front drive shaft where it goes into the hub,came loose and was rattling around.

check all the roll bar attachments for loose nuts and bolts where it attaches to the chassis and the nuts at each end of the bar that hold the compliance bushes through the lower track arm,also check the lower track arm ball joint for wear,and the track rod end ball joint,in general check all bolts and attachments,you may need a good pry bar to lever the joints whils checking them

if any one actually reads this i found the guilty component on the car . it only ended up costing me 99pence to rectify a fooking pinch bolt would you beleive it. hours i spent trying to find what was up ended up taking 5mins to put right...
