Default cold start

cant get my s2 to start and keep running. she will start and run fine for a min or two then just stop but if i take it for a run till it worm she will run fine changed the cold start valve still no change do u think i should go get it set up [more money]

Sounds like you may have an air leak somewhere.

I had the same prob with the S1 years ago, turned out to be that the nuts that hold the throttle body in place needed nipping up. Once it was warm and the aluminium had expanded it ran fine.

had it all to bits with a new inlet so i dont no think its got to go in for a set up

HI,

Is the thermo time switch , which operates the cold start valve working(power to valve) other wise check for air leaks, co%, and timing is correct.
