Default T3 turbo differences

I recently had to replace my turbo on my 2wd saf. I had a T3 with a reworked compressor housing to 4x4 spec on it. I replaced it with one of the same spec but the car has lost its punch. I had the car on the rollers and I found the I have lost 30BHP. I think I have been sold a standard T3. Can anyone tell me what the difference is in the size of compressor housing between a 2wd T3 and the larger T3 from a 4x4

Hi,

I believe that comp. housing are same. (0,42)
Comp. wheel is different, trim .55 for 4x2, trim .60 for 4x4.

Is it right ?

Regards.

Thanks Claude

I have measured it and I do have a 2wd T3. I have been told the 4x4 flows 10% more air so that would make sense as I am only getting 300bhp on the same rolling road I always use running the same boost. Oh well that was a waste of money I will have to sell it and make sure I get one with the 4x4 compressor wheel in it.

compressor housings are different also...the inlet of the houses are different....if you see inside the inlet you see the 2wd is different instead of the 4wd...

a 2wd compressor hous has an edge inside and the 4wd doesnt....

Yep I got a big step about half way down the inlet to my turbo yet again confirming a 2wd turbo.

Thanks
