What is it? Is it a 1.8 16v zetec? If so, what sort of power can we get out of it? My mate wants it to turbo it for his focus, but we havn't got a clue whats involved.

Do they need low comp pistons, or anything else uprated in order to turbo it?

Well i'd rather have the input from a FORD site instead of google, thats why i posted here.

 

I'm not sure TBH mate, its some bloke in woking selling it, was on Ebay and didn't make the Ł100 so we made him an offer.

 

it is an earlier zetec yes, due to teh ali inlet manifold that says EFI on top, the xr2i was 105 hp, the rs1800 was 130 due to different cams, and throttle body, but hey did do a 1.8 115hp that was fitted to some later escorts with the same rocker cover , but IIRC they had a plastic inlet manifld.

 

Its going to be stripped and have a top end rebuild, so whatever it takes we can do
