Im looking for my engine no. on a 200 block anyone know were i will find it and what sort of letters and no.s there will be cheers

as far as I know its in the same place for all the pinto blocks, on a machined surface beneath the exhaust manifold behind the alternator.
Thats where mine is on me 200 block and my 205 blocks.

if it was a new block and not from another car it not have a number on it

if it was a new 200 block wouldnt come with number mines the same 200 block with no number
