smoking fiesta
its not good my frst has started smoking
i've changrd the valve stem seal but it's not improved... anyone had the same problem???

if you look on fiesta turbo.com they shoy how to fit a t3 on there! only diff between cossie t3 and escort ts is the down pipe so you would need to modify that!

yeh! well depends how you drive it!i've also got a hybrid that i mught be selling if i brake my escort! you could always by the 1.8 zetec from it aswell!

you can take it off dude and check to see if there is any play in the shaft

you only need to take the pipe off the turbo not actually the turbo off! to check check for play there should be a litte up and down play not much tho! there might be no play! but the seals could have gone giving you the smoke! my turbo on the fiesta was a modded t2.5 hybrid???? it had a saab 9000 houding on it or something it was the the turbo centre that built it!

also check that the oil return pipe is in good condition ie NOT blocked etc.
ps: I have a vgc hybrid t2 straight replacment that came off my m8's frst and WASN'T smoking £250 if n e good to you

Aright boys? Theres no play in the shaft
so its going to get the piston rings shells and bottom bearings done thinking about a kent cam 2
