I just bought a set of Konis and h&r springs for my XR3i.

My first time dealing with these shocks.Right now im at work ready to put em on my car.the only problem is im not sure what to do with a couple of "white rings".1 for each front shock.theyre flat and by the looks of em they should go straight down on top of the the shock.does these have any purpose at all,and does it mater how theyre put on?
