i posted a question in the thread "running hot-any tips"but i can any one help in giving detailed instructions on how to fit a fan-overide switch whic will work along side the fan on a normall cycle(i.e i can turn it on when i want to,but it will still work as normal when reaching a certain temp.)i would like it to be saft as well- i've already posted this topic-and everyone has said it is easy but no one has told me hoew to do it
anyone who can help would be most grateful p.s if anyone knows where them items come from and how to get them (running hot-any tips)please let me know!

Run a cable from inside the car (whereever u want switch) atleast 2 core and ither trace from the fan the wires conneted to the fan , prob easier if u run it down to the connector that plugs on to the fan as it sits connected get ur new cable and conect up to fan wires (there will be two wires there) connect ur new 2 wires on to them (basically just adding urz to the joint of cable then buy a switch or use yer rear foglight switch on dash to do it (remember and change back when m.o.t time comes) and find the two pins on switch that have a dead SHORT on them when pressed this is where u connect ur cable on to , i.e when cable is shorted the fan activates hope this helps m8 this is based on a escort rst , but will be the same on whatever car uv got
