i currently own a 4x4 cossie...i'd had the engine box took out so i could get a full shell respray and had all my engine stripped down 2 get all new seals etc so there wasnt any oil leaks n all the usual cossie wears n tears were sorted.

whilst it was apart i bought a set of light blue injectors and when it was put bak 2gther it got new champion plugs, magnecor leads etc..........

it was running ok b4 it was took apart on 803 greens but now its over fueling really really bad......ive just got 60 mile out of 20 quid and its struggling 2 start which i think is down 2 flooding. when first fired up it stinks of petrol and is smoking black soot. also when u driving it it keeps dying off then picking up again cummin on n off boost???

i have been told getting it set up will sort the problem out but im not convinced as i had a white 3dr n put light blues in that frm standrard injectors n that run lumpy but was no where near as bad as my saph.

could it be a dodgy injector or does it just need setting up??

any advice is much appreciated

did u change the chip so it could run on 400 injectors if not then there's a good reason it would o/fuel for starters,if you did then check the fuel regulator.
