Default RS Turbo back to Carb!!!!!! Help Needed.

Gents,

Brought an RS Turbo off a mate of mine, had the head cleaned and rebuilt the bottom end myself. Now after 4 months of playing and paying I have had enough. The engine will run and idle but farts and coughs up to you hit the turbo then it will boost fine and run but when you try and drive it its even worse.

I have tried metering unit, fuel pump, dizzy, coil pack ............ I now just cannot be f**king arsed.

I have taken the turbo lump out in view of rebuilding it to a 2.1 spec but I need a car to drive in the meantime.

Thankfully my missus had lent me her bored out 1.9 carb lump from her smashed escort but I need a bit of help.

Obviously I dont want to have to change the wiring loom but does anyone have any ideas how I need to modify it to get the engine to run. I know the RS runs the coilpack and ignition timing from the ECU's but I need to remove these to work on the turbo engine.

Is there anyway of creating a temporary engine loom to use on the carb lump until my turbo is rebuilt? I know it cant be that complicated as there is no fuel injection system to worry about. Thankfully also I have the entire of her loom to play with too so I can cut wires.

Cheers guys any help would be greatly appreciated.
