Default Exhaust Wrap

Who uses this stuff. What are the advantages/disadvatages of using it. I have just bought some off ebay. Would you wrap the turbo up in it aswell. Any pics would be great.

yes, wrap the turbo in it as well....

its good stuff, and helps keep the heat 'in' and reduces under bonnet temperature levels... and helps the starter motor too...

Twins (Dave) has done it on his superb red ERST S2....

look at his thread within the Rebuilds and Restoration section....

makes a difference, even after running all night, i can put my hand round my downpipe without getting burnt!!

heard it helps performance aswell as the gases escape quicker
