HI all, my 89 erst is refusing to start after being driven 4 only a few miles, i av to wait at least 10 mins 4 it 2 start again, also while drivin at any speed at any time it sumtimes cuts out this isnt constant but is happening more often than not. its got ahmed bayjoo chip cam filter & running around 170bhp. any advice wud be greatly appreciated thanx

 

wELL SOUND LIKE WHAT I HAD WITH MY 500
THAT PROBLEM WAS THE PHASE SENSOR

 

I had a similar problem with my G plate XR3i and was told it was because the exhaust manifold was close to the starter motor. I used to have to do the same, wait for a good 10 mins sometimes before it would start.

 

any suggestions on how i cure it??? thanx
