Beside the accelerator cable, with the grey plug, i think it's the idle speed control valve? Anyway it's knackered and i need a new one so i'd like to know, cheers.

it may not be knackered..the piston may just need cleaning, you can remove the piston and clean all the crap off it unbolt the very small centre nut to remove piston.
