Default Cossie Brakes

Hi all. i have an annoying problam with my rear brakes. The car is an F reg Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth. The car has stood for about 6 months and a recent mot test revealed that the rear brakes were binding excessivley. The brakes would lock on for 5 - 10 seconds after braking. So far, i`ve fitted new discs, pads, calipers and the problam still persists. The car has ABS and the abs light goes out when it should. I have taken the car to the local garage and they have had no luck at all. PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!!

hello mate
have you replaced the rubber hoses. because they can detereate inside and allow fluid to the brakes but not flow back and cause the brakes to bind!
jack the car up, remove the rear wheels and get someone to applie the brakes untill they are binding when the pedal is not pressed. then slacken the bleed nipple if fluid squirts out and the brake does not bind that is the problem. also you dont say weather you have replaced the hand brake cable. make sure that move freely
hth nick.
