ok my vans electronic ign has gone fooked , so whats the options , i want cheap electronic ign that prefarably removes the points in the dizzy - any ideas guys , BTW , it a rover V8 so must be compatible with 8 cylinders , im not paying lumenition prices either robbin cnuts

may not be cheap enough Mark, but the Magnetronic system from Lumenition is very neat and effective, trigger module replaces points and a trigger disc fits under the rotor arm, no external control boxes.. need to check if they are available for V8 distributor.. ? i'm not sure.

cheers rich , i didnt go into the whole story tbh , but i had the aldon ignitor in until recently when it decided to pack up intermittant non start/cutting out with no spark, but was working fine for about a year just wondered about my options thats all, but i think these two youev said are about t he easiest and the cheapest.
