cosworth misfire

Default cosworth misfire

hello all any ideas on this one when my mates cossie boosts up it misfires we have changed the blue and brown sensors, phase sensor, crank sensor, leads cap and rotor arm. any help would be well helpfull

check the spark plug gaps if they are too big the boost can blow out the spark apparently, I think 28 thou is the recommended gap on higher boost. someone like PJ motorsport will confirm it. regards

spark plugs have been changed and are gaped correctly

What plugs are you using what gap did you set them too?
What spec is the engine what sort of boost are you running????

found the problem the crank sensor was too far away from the pulley now boosting up lovely cheers all.
