Default Changing throttle body dia... remap?

silly Q really...

when moving from a nrmal sized throttle to a larger one (eg changig from RSt one to cossie one) does the car require a remap etc.

i THINK the answer is no as surely it wouldnt flow and more air at the same boost, but thought i'd ask just incase as i beleive i may actually have a larger dia TB than a std item on my XR4 and would like to keep this

Your airflow meter will calibrate it untill it reaces its limit at WOT Jim.

Try her on the rollers

The restriction is general the inlet tracts /valves, so id not worry too much.

But if they ARE the restriction, why change the fooker in the first place Jim? What ya up to now?

update, the throttles themselves are no bigger, theres an outer metal sheath over them where the hoses clip onto to allow you to get a proper bit of hose on there... THATS why my hoses didnt fit properly on a std throttle

all makes sense now

so the question is pointless still was nice to know the answer mind
