24v capri x-member
i have a 1.6 d reg capri non pas and want to stick the v6 2.9 24v engine in and not have pas.
what x-member do i need? im 99% certain i have a 2.8 one as mine looks similar/identical to;

i believe any capri x-member will fit all 3 mks. true or false?
i believe any capri non pasx-member will fit any non pas rack, and visa versa. true or false?
ive looked on a schimeter (essex v6 non pas) and the rubber engine mounts are the same distance apart, and at the same angle as the capri 1.6 x-member. ie a 3.0 pas xmember is wrong.
the pics are of;
1 - the capri x-member,
2 - the metal from the 24v engine to the rubber mount,
3 - the 2.9 rubber mounts (10pts if you guess the car its on)
4 - the metal from the 1.6 engine to the rubber mount (the 1.6 ones are smaller than the v6).
5 - the capri itself
do i actually need a new x-member, or do i just need a different version of pic #4?
and can some with hosting space pm me? ive a 217kb and 124kb pic.

the holes on the 24 mount make a triangle of 4.5, 4 and 2.5 inches. the engine has holees for 4 bolts.
the holes on the 1.6 mount are 6.5 or 7 cm apart from the one on the same axis.

The 2.8 crossmember with PAS is the same as the 3.0 with PAS. If you want to fit the 24V engine, you need a 3.0 non-PAS crossmember, which has exactly the same engine mounting brackets on but has the different rack mounts.
