Default Just went for a drive and had a problem!!

Just went out for a drive in the Saff and was crusing along with the stereo going and upto about 120,all was well.
Until the stereo shut off and the battery light came on,the rev counter stopped working properly and the temp gauge went to the bottom. When i got into a small village i stopped and had a quick look under the bonnet for anything loose and couldnt see anything,so got back in and went to start it,turned the key and no lights come on the dash at all but it fired up fine and i drove home as normal.
All the lights still work and it seems to have full power still.

Any ideas before i have a look tomorow??

ITS DEFINATELY THE ALTERNATOR BELT (or poxy alternator) - car must've been dimming until the battery ran out

Alternator on a Cossie comes with a built-in regulator which probably went balls-up - just check the belt, change alt and if u can change battery as well - all will be fine then.
