Default Saph dump valve...

I know this may sound silly but where does the small vacuum hose connect to fromthe top of the dump valve in a saph 2wd cossie. The car didn't come with one, so now i have it i want to make sure i fit it correctly?
Cheers

The inlet manifold should have a nipple you can plug the hose into, if not, there's probably a bolt blocking a hole, you just need to get the plastic bit that screws into the thread and allows you to attach a hose to it.

Whatever you do, DO NOT be tempted to cut the hose that goes to the map sensor and use a t-piece. That would mess up the map sensor reading big time.

in the pic here, you can see the pipe running round the slam panel to the dump valve, it connects to it's own nipple on the plenum chamber, the front one of the four originally. As Frog says, DON'T under any circumstances be tempted to 'T' it into MAP sensor or Pressure regulator pipes.
