Hi guys I'm new on the forum and would like to say a big hi and thank you for all the other information already on here.
I have a question I'm running in my mk2 fiesta(Ghia) a 1.1 Valencia ohv 3 bearing with distributor and points.(3 cable plug).
Unfortunately she's hade a hard life and is now time for a upgrade, and not a zetez or cvh due to holomagacion problems. So I have from the mk4 escort the 1.3l Valencia ohv 5 bearing. Motor now it's a easy swap but I've ran into the issue of ignition side of things.
The 1.1 is a normal distributer with what I can only imagine is the amplifier on the side with 2 screws holding it down.
on 1.3 it's a electronic and coils set up with no hole in the block. Now I have the crack sensor and both wiring lums, is there any one out there that has come across this before or know the quickest way of doing this? Being in Spain I'm limited to parts and information.
