Default lower compression for 1.3hcs engine.

im planning on putting a turbo on my 1.3 escort, alot of people will say why, but i want more power from the engine whilst keeping the lower tax, cheeper insurance, and i also want to biuld it as it will be a fairly unique motor when done.

my problem is im not sure which wud be the best way to lower the compression ratio.
i know i cud put lower compression pistons in but i dont perticularly want to take the engine apart that much.
wud putting in a thicker head gasket work or wud this cause alot of problems? also how much thicker wud i have to have it?

your best off getting the pistons machined so you can run a safe amount of boost or have a talk with graham goode so if they can do a metal headgasket for u
