Default 2007 mk3 ST220 Fuel problem

Hi,
So i noticed what looked like a fuel leak on the floor after pulling up to my work and returning to the car, i couldnt see anything dripping from underneath and tried to start it up but it went dead shortly after.
What ive done and checked so far with help from here -
  • I filled the fuel filter with Deisel and got it to start, still couldnt see any leak but once the fuel filter drained it cut out again after 5-10 minutes at idle. Obviously its not receiving fuel from the pump.
  • It doesnt seem like the pump is running when i turn the ignition on.
  • I cant see any fuse present from the diagram that links to the pump
  • Ive looked for a fuel cut off switch but doesnt seem to be there
Any help with the above?
  • How can i tell if the pump is dead? (I can use a multi meter but unsure of the wiring)
  • Is there a fuse or relay that relates to the pump?
  • Any other ideas?
Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks
