engine will not fire
Hi all,
I had some engine misfires when I put my CVH 1.6T under load. So i decided to change out the coil. Upon removing the wire from the coil it just sort of disintegrated so I thought I found the problem. Ordered new from Burton power, a bosch coil and new coil lead. I connected everything up and the engine cranks and I am getting fuel but it just wont fire up. So I thought to change out the new coil for the old one seen as that did look okay and worked before. But it doesn't even fire with that! I am kinda clueless on what to do next, I am getting around 9 volts on the + wire and the coil lead is seated correctly. the - wire on the coil does not have a perfet connection to ground, maybe that is the problem?
stuff i bought:
BPL04BK Burton Powerlead HT lead set (black): CVH 0221119030
HP coil Bosch red type ballast
I did notice later that the "constant power" type coil that is for sale on Burton Power (https://www.burtonpower.com/bosch-ig...221122450.html) looks more like the old coil. But seen as it doesn't work on both coils I don't want to just buy this to see if it works.
thanks in advance,
Mitchel
