ecu swop out is it as easy as that

Default ecu swop out is it as easy as that

hi folks just bought another l6 ecu to replace my fried one. the second hand one i just bought was running greens i didnt want the chip with it so its been taken out. is it just as simple as putting my stg1 chip in it and away i go or will i have to adjust the co or anything els as the co screw might be in a different position for the previous owners set up being it was running greens thanks. i no its allways best to have a set up. i do have a co machine

anyone i dont want to shaft this one as well

Yes, swap the EPROM (chip) out. You should check/set the CO though.
