Default Rev counter not working

Hi all new to this forum ,question is just bought a mk3 escort 1.6 ghia now with 2.0 zetec in running on 40webers & the Rev counter doesn’t work?. I’ve no idea what Ecu/ harness its using ,could anyone point me in the right direction to get it working thanks

Depends on the ignition setup.

Ford EDIS (standalone)?
Aftermarket ECU?
Distributor conversion?

Yes it does.

The Nodiz pro has a rev counter output (PIN2, check your handbook page 12; "6.2 Main loom connecting") that is not part of the standard Nodiz wiring loom and you might have to install a pin and cable first. When this won't work or your rev counter gives you wrong or half readings... try this:
